Didobi submits Markets Study to Lewisham Council

Didobi was commissioned by Lewisham Council to carry out a study of its street markets. After a literature review, a number of visits to Lewisham’s markets, data analysis and conducting a survey where we received 431 responses in three weeks we delivered a 50 page report along with a summary infographic of our findings.

“The social and economic goals of public markets are intertwined in a way unlike those of any other civic institution or commercial entity.”
(Ford Foundation, 2003)

The importance of markets cannot be overstated especially as we enter the cost of living crisis which will be with us for some time. Does your town have markets and does your council have a vision and strategy for its markets? If not we would be delighted to help your council deliver one through evidence led research and action planning.

Client feedback on our report.
“It was a pleasure to work with Didobi. They delivered a comprehensive, engaging and highly visual markets report (including a summary infographic) based on gaining a detailed understanding of the markets through visits, a survey with over 400 responses and analysis of key data. Their work will help inform future activity to support the high street.”
