Webinar: Using Data To Evaluate Irish Places

On Friday 30th May 2025 Matthew Hopkinson, Managing Director of Didobi, gave a keynote presentation on Using Data To Evaluate Irish Places to the Co-operation Ireland All-Island Local Authority Forum webinar.

The webinar was about how smart data can shape vibrant, thriving town centres across the island and included our recent work creating an Understanding Irish Places data model for 493 towns and cities in the Republic of Ireland based on the Understanding Scottish Places interdependency model.

The All-Island Local Authority Programme is a strategic partnership comprising 10 Chief Executives, five from SOLACE NI (Society of Local Authority Chief Executives, NI (SOLACE, NI) and five from the CCMA (County and City Management Association).

The work of the Forum is developed through practical joint projects and the sharing of knowledge, expertise and best practice.
