Case Study

The brief
The client wished to review and adapt their existing data strategy. The primary objective of the new data strategy was to maximise their ability to turn their considerable data assets into valuable knowledge, information and insights. By doing so, they hoped to drive improved financial and social value performance, reduce strategic risk and increase transparency around their decision-making processes.
A key functional requirement of the project was the ability to organise, govern, analyse and deploy both “proprietary” data and that of third-party suppliers (either paid for or free) in these processes.
Our input
Didobi was asked to work with the client’s inhouse team to develop a data strategy. As part of this project we reviewed existing data assets, management processes and the client’s business objectives. to better understand how they could use these assets to (i) reduce risk, (ii) make better informed investment decisions and (iii) extract the maximum value from their data assets.
Current status
The initial phase of the project has now been completed. The client is currently reviewing how best to proceed with practical implementation (3Q2019)
